Adina Burghelea
Adina is a litigation attorney with more than a decade of practice before the Romanian courts. At ACTIO she is part of the litigation department, working on files from the first analysis of the case through to the final judgment.
Before joining the firm, she spent nine years in the major projects department of Mocanu & Associates, where she represented local public authorities in Bucharest at all levels of jurisdiction, in civil disputes and in administrative and tax litigation. She drafted and argued the procedural documents and ran the files through every stage of the proceedings.
A substantial part of that work concerned expropriation for public-utility projects: analysis of title, the setting and payment of compensation for expropriated property, and assistance in the related administrative procedures. She has also prepared legal opinions and advisory memoranda, mainly on civil and administrative law.
She began her practice in criminal law, in an individual law office. She also holds a degree in Art History and Theory from the National University of Arts in Bucharest.
